If you can relate to my day today?
Please feel free to follow along as I today launch ‘theOutdoorBeat.com’ in its new form and content.
The way I got into the train this evening, heading towards the annual Outdoor Show in Freidrichafen, tell the story about the Outdoor Beat pretty well.
When I finally got into the train my heart beat was high. way too high. I almost missed the train. Actually I got on the train further down the line after my girlfriend had driven the car to the max.
Before that I got up, made sure the kids got breakfast and took them to the kindergarten, got to work (I do have a work besides my outdoor websites, where I work as a self titled Digital Athlete and Social Media Manager at Organic Denmark. A NGO fighting to promote organic food in Denmark, and in Europe), had to pack for the Outdoor Show, pick up the kids and cook dinner.
You know. Just a lot of every day situations.
And you know what. That is just all right.

- I love my kids. Also in the mornings. As long as I get my coffee
- I love my day time job. Great case to work for and nice collegues
- I love going to the Outdoor Show. It’s a nice combination of work, networking, hobby and pleasure
- I love my kids. Also in the evening when they are tired and worn out
- You know what. I don’t like being late for the train. But I’m on the train this very moment when I write this blog post
Busy times are alright. As long as they don’t get to control your life.
And that is where the Outdoor Beat is something very special to me.
the Outdoor Beat is where I get to switch off from daily routines.
the Outdoor Beat is where I get to escape for the great outdoors in order to recharge my batteries and return to the daily routines.

Is the Outdoor Beat magic?
No way. Not even close.
the Outdoor Beat is about prioritizing your time and get your sorry ass out there. Not to win, not to survive.
To me, the Outdoor Beat helps me in my ongoing work and search for being even more present in a world where it is so easy to be deluded and miss what is most imporatnt to you.
Through the Outdoor Beat I hope to inspire you to get out there. Offline. Tune in on the present moment. Enjoy nature, enjoy your own company or your friends and family.
